Bodegas Gordonzello, was created in 1995 by a group of vine growers led by José Manuel Fernández with the aim of crafting great wine from the property’s vineyards. Today, it is the leading winery of D.O. TIERRA DE LEÓN with over 25% of total production. With over 205 own acres, this modern winery owns much of the oldest vineyards in the area. When the latest technology and the expertise of winemaker is applied to this territory, the results are excellent benchmark PEREGRINO wines from D.O. TIERRADE LEÓN. The Prieto Picudo and Albarín varieties, are the mainstay of the D.O. and GORDONZELLO, and the banks of the Cea River in the province of León (Spain) are one of the few places where they are growing. www.gordonzello.com


1. Dolca


Luminous yellow color with varietals aromas, citrus and tropical fruits, such as pineapple. On the palate is flavorful and pleasant (sweet flavors and a degree of acidity which brings freshness and vigor).
100% Verdejo from our vineyards. Vintage: 2013. Sweet white wine. Young unoaked.
Late harvest (picking the ripest grape up) with alcoholic fermentation controlled in stainless steel vats. During the fermentation of must, when around 80 gr/l of residual sugar and 9º of alcohol is reached, we stop the process by cold and filtered of the wine.



2. Peregrino Albarín

Brilliant and clean white wine with straw-yellow color and if you swirl the glass, attractive green glint appear. 
Varietal aromas, the bouquet of magnolia and honey almond blossoms, with citrus white and tropical fruit, with some floral notes with hints from woodland reminds.
On the palate is dry, agile, persistent, with a balanced acidity and very fleshy.

100% Albarin from our vineyards. Vintage: 2013. White wine. Young unoaked.


3. Peregrino Rosado


Brilliant and clean rosé wine. The colour is red raspberry with the attractive blue-purple glints appear. 
On the nose appear the jellies bouquet, red licorice, strawberry yoghurt and red fruit like the strawberry, raspberry and cherry. 
In mouthfeel it is characterized by the persistent and its pleasant acidity, making it an agile wine. It`s freshness and inviting us to the tasting.

4. Peregrino Reserva

This wine has a deep, ruby-red colour. Complex and elegant nose, with outstanding undergrowth aromas and spices characteristic of wines that have been aged in French oak barrels. 
The mouthfeel is equilibrate, dry, powerful, spicy and fine bitterness.

100 % Prieto Picudo from our vineyards. 
Vintage: 2008. 
12 months in American, French and Hungarian oak barrels; and 24 months in bottle.



5. Peregrino 14


Intensive deep red color with purplish sheen. 
On The nose is an intense wine, with ripe fruits, wood and spices, such as cacao and toffee. 
Round, long and persistent, with soft tannins. 

100 % Prieto Picudo from our vineyards. 

Vintage: 2008. 14 months in American, French and Hungarian oak barrels, to make the malo-lactic fermentation inside.



6. Kyra 

Luminous wine, Straw-yellow colour. Its aroma is intensive and powerful, with complexity that it is derivate of winemaking into the new French oak barrels. On the nose, there is citrus fruit, white fruit such as melon and flowers. On the palate, there is magnify balance between fruit and acidity, it is silky, unctuous and complex. 100% Albarin from our vineyards. Vintage: 2012. Young white wine. Mechanical harvest at night. Cold maceration the grapes before press it. After the pressing, the juice is kept to new French oak barrels to carry out the alcoholic fermentation and ageing with fine lees for 4 months up to its bottling.



7. Peregrino Mil 100


Dark red cherry colour, with attractive blue-purple glints appear. On the nose it is power and elegant. Firstly, we find hints ripe fruit such as plum combined with wood, spice aromas (laurel and tobacco), chocolates and roasted coffee beans. 

On the entry to the palate, it is persistent, roundness, long and balanced mouth feel.
